Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Civil Engineer specializing in industrial building projects and facility maintenance. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end execution, coordination, and monitoring of civil and infrastructure works across our industrial facilities.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical design and practical on-site execution, leveraging strong AutoCAD skills alongside comprehensive knowledge of structural repairs, preventive maintenance, and vendor management. You will be instrumental in ensuring all structural assets remain safe, compliant, and operational with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Project Execution & Supervision: Lead and supervise current industrial construction projects, extensions, and structural modifications across factory and warehouse premises.
- Comprehensive Facility Maintenance: Manage end-to-end corrective and preventive maintenance works, including flooring, waterproofing, structural repairs, roofing, plumbing, and industrial drainage systems.
- Emergency & Breakdown Response: Promptly address and resolve emergency civil breakdowns or critical maintenance issues to minimize operational disruptions.
- AutoCAD Drafting & Design: Prepare, review, and modify layouts, detailed structural drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
- Estimation, BOQ & Billing: Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimations, and verify contractor bills against actual material consumption and physical progress.
- Vendor & Contractor Coordination: Coordinate seamlessly with contractors, external consultants, and vendors. Plan and allocate manpower, materials,



and equipment effectively.
- Quality, Safety & Compliance: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure strict compliance with engineering quality standards, structural safety protocols, and company HSE policies.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain precise project documentation, including engineering drawings, statutory approvals, inspection logs, and daily/weekly progress reports.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Technical Expertise: Strong working knowledge of industrial building materials, concrete technologies, and advanced construction methodologies.
- Maintenance Specialization: Proven hands-on experience in industrial waterproofing, specialized flooring (e.g., epoxy/VDF), structural retrofitting, and high-capacity drainage systems.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D drafting) and standard MS Office applications (Word, Excel for billing/estimation).
- Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated capability in handling quantity surveys, BOQ preparation, and structural cost estimation.
- Soft Skills: Strong cross-functional coordination, problem-solving abilities, and clear communication skills to manage diverse labor forces and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Preferred Profile

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience working within industrial plants, manufacturing factories, large-scale warehouses, or heavy commercial facilities.
- Operational Readiness: Ability to independently drive site execution with minimal supervision and a willingness to travel between various project/factory sites as required.
