- Lead mechanical commissioning activities, and coordinate corrective actions with the third parties
- Validate mechanical designs, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;), and equipment datasheets against project specifications
- Conduct site inspections of digesters, mixers, pumps, heat exchangers, compressors, and associated piping for compliance and workmanship
- Diagnose equipment failures or performance shortfalls; recommend technical solutions and oversee implementation
- Implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies; optimize lubrication, alignment, and vibration monitoring programs
- Analyse operational data to identify mechanical bottlenecks, energy losses, and throughput limitations
- Collaborate with teams to enforce mechanical safety standards, lockout-tagout procedures, and incident root-cause investigations
- Prepare detailed mechanical performance reports and present findings to senior management
Software Knowledge
Key Skills/Competencies
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2+ years’ of work experience at any processing / manufacturing plant; Mandatory experience in Biogas / Effluent Treatment / Waste Management.
- Hands-on experience with 3rd party EPC contractors, Project Management, Mechanical commissioning
- In-depth knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and rotating equipment design; Proficiency with mechanical simulation tools
- Familiarity with relevant mechanical safety standards
- Excellent communication skills for technical reporting, cross-team coordination and vendor negotiation – vendor management
- Willingness to travel regularly for site assessments & commissioning support
