Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks from scratch. In this role, you will leverage Python and Robot Framework to automate web applications, APIs, and backend services, ensuring high-quality software delivery within our Agile development cycles.

Key Responsibilities

- Framework Development: Design, enhance, and scale robust automation testing frameworks using Python and Robot Framework.
- Script Creation: Write clean, reusable, and maintainable keyword-driven test scripts using Robot Framework libraries.
- Test Automation: Automate end-to-end functional, regression, smoke, and integration test cases across UI and API layers.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites into DevOps continuous pipeline management using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Defect Management: Identify, log, track, and validate software defects using project management tools like Jira.
- Data Validation: Build automated data validation scripts and execute complex SQL queries to verify database integrity.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams during Agile sprints and code reviews.
- Reporting: Analyze test execution outcomes, generate comprehensive test reports, and maintain clear coverage metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Python Expertise:



Strong, hands-on programming skills in Python for building utilities and custom libraries.(Mandatory)
- Robot Framework: Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience writing automated scripts using Robot Framework.(Mandatory)
- Ecosystem Libraries: Deep familiarity with standard extensions like Selenium Library, Requests Library (for REST APIs), or Process libraries.
- API Testing: Proven experience validating RESTful web services and backend APIs.
- Database & OS: Good understanding of relational databases (SQL), basic querying, and operating comfortably in Linux/Unix environments.
- Version Control: Proficient with Git commands, branching strategies, and repository management.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in fast-paced Scrum or Kanban delivery setups.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience using advanced UI automation tools like Playwright or Appium for mobile applications.
- Familiarity with containerization via Docker and cloud deployment infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Exposure to concurrent testing frameworks like PyTest.
- Experience leveraging contemporary AI technology tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) for Quality Engineering tasks
