Role & responsibilities

The Talent Manager is responsible for supporting and executing talent management initiatives across the organization, including learning & capability development, succession planning, high-potential talent programmes, and talent analytics, ensuring effective implementation, governance, tracking, and reporting of key talent initiatives across the organization.

Responsibility:

1. Learning & Capability Development

- Conduct learning needs analysis in partnership with HR and business leaders.
- Coordinate and execute learning interventions for leadership, functional, and behavioural capability building.




- Manage annual learning calendars and capability-building initiatives.
- Support competency framework development and maintenance.
- Track learning effectiveness through feedback, participation, and impact metrics.

2. Talent & HiPo Development

- Support the annual talent review process.
- Coordinate High Potential (HiPo) identification and development programs.
- Track development actions, mobility, retention, and readiness of identified talent.
- Facilitate mentoring, coaching, and leadership development initiatives.

3. Succession Planning

- Coordinate succession planning activities across functions.
- Maintain succession dashboards and readiness data.
- Track development plans for successors and critical talent.
- Support talent calibration discussions and follow-up actions.

4. Analytics & Reporting

- Develop and maintain dashboards and scorecards.
- Analyse trends related to succession, learning, internal mobility, retention and HiPo talent.
- Generate reports and insights for HR leadership and business stakeholders.

5. Stakeholder & Vendor Management

- Coordinate with learning partners, assessment providers, coaches and consulting partners.
- Support programme governance and budget tracking.
- Ensure quality and effectiveness of externally delivered interventions.

Preferred Education:

- MBA/PGDM in HR.
- Certification in OD, Talent Management, Coaching, or Learning & Development.
