Job Description :

- Upkeep of all firefighting equipment's, safety sensors, PA systems always
- Timely completion of all compliances (GSPCB, Factory Boilers, Fire NOC, PESO, Narcotics) as per compliance calendar
- Timely & effective disposal of Hazardous waste, Biomedical waste & E waste to authorized vendor as per CTO guidelines
- Ensure effective working of ETP plant at all time
- Timely completion of all equipment testing, structural stability & all other compliance related tests required at site. Co-ordinate with Project department for Project approvals & Building Maintenance activity
- Establish EMS as per ISO 14001, maintain Safety management System and implement related procedures.
- Conduct training on EHS policies, standards, SOPs, safety orientation of current hires and related assessments/documentations.

Key Deliverables

- Ensure 100% statutory compliance (GSPCB, Factory, Boilers, Fire NOC, PESO, Narcotics).
- Maintain firefighting systems, safety equipment, and ETP operations.
- Ensure timely disposal of hazardous, biomedical, and e-waste.
- Complete statutory inspections, testing,



and certifications on time.
- Implement and maintain ISO 14001 and Safety Management System.
- Conduct EHS training, inductions, and emergency drills.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Diploma in Industrial Safety.
- Recognized Safety Officer qualification as per the Factories Act/State Factory Rules.
- 3-5 years of experience in EHS, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of statutory compliances, Fire Safety, ISO 14001, and ETP operations.

- Knowledge of EHS regulations and statutory compliances.

- Hazardous waste management and ETP operations.
- Risk assessment and incident investigation.
- Communication, coordination, and training skills.
