Roles and Responsibilities :
- Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock quantities, forecasting demand, and ordering supplies to ensure optimal inventory turnover.
- Coordinate with vendors to negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and quality standards for purchases.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities to meet company requirements.
- Develop strong relationships with vendors through effective communication, trust-building, and issue resolution.
Job Requirements :
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering & construction industry.
- Solid knowledge of purchase processes, including procurement planning, vendor management, and contract administration.
- Excellent negotiation skills for price negotiations with vendors.
- Ability to analyze data to inform inventory control decisions.
