Role & responsibilities

The Training Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing training programs for Business Correspondents (BCs) and ensuring that they are effectively certified and upskilled.

Key responsibilities include:

- BC Certification: Manage the certification process for all BCs, with priority given to those who have completed 9 months of business (MOB). This involves tracking attendance, coordinating the training schedule, and ensuring participants enroll for the upcoming certification exams.
- Product Features Training: Collaborate with the product team to deliver comprehensive training on credit card product features, ensuring BCs have a thorough understanding of the product.
- Training Material Management: Regularly update and maintain training content to reflect the latest product developments and industry trends.
- Recent Hire Orientation (NHO): Conduct orientation for newly hired BCs, ensuring they understand their role, responsibilities, and product knowledge.
- Soft Skills Development: Focus on sharpening soft skills such as communication, sales techniques, and customer handling.




- Behavioral Training: Provide training on professional behavior, customer service etiquette, and team collaboration.
- Attendance Management: Maintain detailed records of training attendance and progress, ensuring that all BCs receive the required training.
- Travel: Travel to various sales locations to conduct in-person training sessions as needed.
- Upskilling: Provide ongoing upskilling opportunities for BCs to help them stay competitive and effective in the market.
- Language Proficiency: Communicate in regional languages when required to ensure that the training is accessible to all participants.

Qualifications:

- Graduate with 2-5 years of work experience in training in the banking financial services industry.
- Preferably a graduate with a CAlIB (Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to manage and coordinate multiple training sessions.
