Overview

The Data Analyst will act as the analytical backbone of the SCM function, working closely with leadership to drive data-backed decisions across planning, procurement, inventory, and production execution. The role focuses on transforming complex operational data into actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Reporting

- Prepare, analyze, and present daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Design, develop, and maintain energetic dashboards using Advanced Excel and Power BI.
- Track key business KPIs related to supply chain, inventory, operations, sales, and finance.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting.

Supply Chain & Inventory Analytics

- Analyze inventory movement, stock aging, demand-supply gaps, SKU performance, and sell-through trends.
- Support SCM and inventory planning teams with data-driven insights.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvement opportunities.

Business Insights & Decision Support

- Provide actionable insights to support management decision-making.
- Conduct trend analysis, variance analysis, and scenario modeling.
- Assist in forecasting, planning, and business performance reviews.

Dashboard Development & Automation

- Develop and enhance dashboards as business requirements evolve.




- Automate reports and recurring analytical tasks to improve efficiency.
- Consolidate and analyze data from multiple systems including ERP, sales, and operations platforms.

Required Technical Skills

Must-Have Skills

- Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Lookup Functions, Dashboards, Data Analysis).
- Power BI (DAX, Data Modeling, Report Development, Visual Storytelling).
- Strong MIS Reporting and KPI Management experience.
- Data validation, cleansing, and reporting expertise.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

- SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Python for data analysis, automation, and reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems and business applications.
- Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management metrics.
- Understanding of forecasting and demand planning concepts.

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Power BI, Data Analytics, SQL, or Supply Chain Analytics will be an added advantage.
