Your key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Kotlin.
- Integrate with Oracle databases and optimize data queries/access.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Collaborate with product managers, QA, and other developers to deliver high-quality features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
- Work with GIT for version control and code collaboration.
- Build new integrations with internal and external systems as required.
Your skills and experience
- 5-10 years of experience in software/product development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin or Java for backend development.
(If primary experience is in Java, must be a quick learner and willing to work in Kotlin.)
- Proficiency in Oracle database design, SQL, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD automation.
- Good understanding of GIT for source control.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with RESTful API design and integration
