Role & responsibilities

- Lead the overall HR function for the spinning mill and support the Plant Head in achieving business goals.
- Handle end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and manpower planning for the plant.
- Manage employee attendance, leave, payroll inputs, HR operations, and employee records.
- Ensure compliance with all labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Handle employee relations, grievance resolution, disciplinary actions, and maintain a positive work setting.
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure adequate manpower and smooth plant operations.
- Plan and execute employee engagement, welfare activities, training, and performance management initiatives.
- Manage contract labour deployment and ensure contractor statutory compliance.
- Oversee the smooth functioning of the canteen, hostel, and company quarters, ensuring employee welfare and proper maintenance.
- Coordinate transportation, security, housekeeping, and other employee welfare facilities as required.
- Ensure timely completion of internal,



statutory, customer, and social compliance audits.
- Prepare and review HR reports, including manpower, absenteeism, attrition, overtime, and recruitment status.
- Support organizational development and continuous improvement initiatives at the plant.
- Build and maintain healthy relationships with employees, local authorities, and external stakeholders.
- Lead and develop the Plant HR team to deliver efficient and people-centric HR services.

Preferred candidate profile

- MBA/MSW in Human Resources, Personnel Management, Labour Welfare, or a related field.
- 1015 years of HR experience
- Good knowledge of labour laws, industrial relations, statutory compliance, payroll, and HR operations.
- Experience in managing employee welfare facilities such as canteen, hostel, and staff quarters.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
