Role & responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and manage obstetric and gynecological patients.

Conduct antenatal, postnatal, and gynecology outpatient consultations.

Monitor and manage labor room patients.

Assist consultants during normal and high-risk deliveries.

Assist in gynecological and obstetric surgeries.

Provide emergency care for obstetric and gynecological cases.

Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.

Interpret laboratory and imaging reports.

Counsel patients regarding pregnancy, family planning, and women's health.

Coordinate with nursing and multidisciplinary teams for patient care.

Participate in ward rounds, case discussions, and clinical audits.

Follow hospital policies, infection control protocols, and patient safety standards.

Participate in continuing medical education and departmental training
