QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with experience to drive the quality, performance, and reliability of our Web, Mobile, and OTT applications through automation, performance testing, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

- Design and implement automation tests based on the agreed-upon regression criteria for quality assurance of all aspects of the system (e.g. functional, security, performance etc).
- Establish an automated test environment for UI testing for our Android, iOS, and Web apps.
- Work with both back-end and front-end development teams through the design and test stages to ensure strict adherence to business requirements.
- Write and maintain tests within an automated test framework using Selenium, Appium similar suites.
- Organize and record detailed test results; provide reports of results and project status.
- Write and maintain test cases along with performing all functional tests including Regression, Smoke, Sanity test.
- Develop, execute, and interpret load, stress, and other automated performance tests.
- Create detailed test cases, documenting expected product functionality based on in-depth analysis of specifications.
- Gather Requirements for Performance Testing - workload, throughput, concurrent users network virtualization and SLA s.
- Knowledge of performance testing lifecycle.
- Developing/Enhancing the scripts using JMeter or K6 using different protocols.
- Design and execute performance, load,



stress, endurance, volume, long duration and spike tests
- Analyze root causes of performance issues and provide corrective actions.
- Analyze results and identify bottlenecks
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines

Requirements:

- 3 to 5 years of experience in Performance testing, UI testing and API testing including automation by using frameworks of Web App, iOS and Android native apps.
- Hands-on experience in Automation Framework development/enhancement of Performance, UI and API
- Strong understanding of Core Java, Python, Jmeter, K6, Appium, RestAPI and SQL.
- Deep knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debugging
- Experience in Cross Platform, Cross Browser, API, Mobile (iOS, Android) and TV (iOS, Android, Roku etc) testing.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, you should have experience in documenting test cases and reporting software defects.
- Worked on Agile Methodologies, STLC.
