Position: SEO Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Intern to support our digital marketing efforts by improving our website's visibility on search engines. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of SEO principles, a passion for digital marketing, and a willingness to learn and implement effective optimization strategies.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Keyword Research

- Conduct keyword research using SEO tools to identify relevant search terms.
- Analyze keyword trends and competitor keywords.
- Assist in creating keyword strategies for website pages and blogs.

2. On-Page SEO

- Optimize meta titles, meta descriptions, header tags, and image alt texts.
- Ensure content follows SEO best practices.
- Improve internal linking and website structure.
- Assist in optimizing landing pages for better search rankings.

3. Content Optimization

- Work with the content team to optimize blogs and website content.
- Suggest SEO-friendly content ideas based on keyword research.
- Update existing content to improve search engine performance.

4. Technical SEO Support

- Identify and report technical SEO issues such as broken links, duplicate content, and crawl errors.
- Assist in improving website speed and mobile responsiveness.
- Support sitemap and indexing activities.

5. Performance Monitoring

- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and other SEO metrics.
- Prepare weekly and monthly SEO performance reports.

6. Competitor Analysis





- Analyze competitor websites and SEO strategies.
- Identify opportunities to improve search rankings and website performance.

7. Off-Page SEO

- Assist in backlink research and link-building activities.
- Support directory submissions and other off-page SEO initiatives.

8. Continuous Learning

- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithm updates, and digital marketing best practices.
- Participate in team discussions and contribute ideas for improving SEO performance.

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
- Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics is a plus.
- Knowledge of keyword research techniques.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and ReactJS is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Eligibility

- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- SEO certifications or relevant project experience will be an added advantage.
