We’re Hiring | Subcontract Procurement Engineer / Senior Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for experienced professionals to handle end-to-end subcontract procurement for project execution. The role focuses on HVAC, plumbing, installation, testing & commissioning packages, along with cost estimation, subcontractor finalization, and contract management.

Key Responsibilities

Tendering & Cost Estimation

- Support subcontract cost estimation during tender stage
- Prepare bottom-up costing and rate analysis
- Assist in budgeting and departmental estimates

Subcontractor Development & Management

- Identify, evaluate, and finalize subcontractors/labour vendors
- Conduct pre-qualification and capability assessments
- Maintain subcontractor database as per audit/ISO standards

Procurement & Contracting

- Float RFQs and manage enquiry process
- Evaluate technical & commercial bids
- Draft LOIs, work orders, and subcontract agreements
- Lead commercial negotiations

Execution & Compliance

- Ensure execution as per SOPs and subcontract plan
- Monitor mobilization and subcontractor performance
- Track variations, change orders, and compliance

Commercial & Finance Coordination

- Manage payment follow-ups with internal teams




- Handle subcontract closures and dispute resolution
- Review bank guarantees and contract conditions

Required Skills

- Strong experience in HVAC & Plumbing subcontracting
- Knowledge of rate analysis, BOQ, and cost estimation
- Understanding of C-class material rates
- Expertise in vendor management & negotiation
- Familiarity with contract terms, bank guarantees & subcontract lifecycle
