Job Description

Role: Azure PaaS Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and certified Azure PaaS Engineer to architect, implement, and manage cloud-native integration solutions using Microsoft Azure’s Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings. This role demands hands-on expertise, proactive problem-solving, and a strong commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Development

Design and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions using Azure PaaS services such as App Service Environment, App Service Plans, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Application Insights, API Management (APIM), and Azure Service Bus.
Lead technical design sessions and translate business requirements into robust cloud solutions.

Client Advisory & Use Case Mapping

Analyze customer application requirements and recommend the most suitable Azure PaaS services for each use case.
Provide strategic guidance on service selection and architecture design.

Deployment & Configuration

Configure and manage Azure PaaS components with private endpoint setups, secure API connections, authentication mechanisms, and monitoring tools.

Backup & Recovery Management

Implement and maintain backup strategies for Azure PaaS services to ensure data integrity and business continuity.

Operational Support & Incident Resolution

Monitor and resolve operational incidents within defined SLAs, ensuring minimal disruption and rapid recovery.
Troubleshoot integration issues across databases, VNets, and application interfaces to maintain system reliability.

Security & Compliance





Apply best practices for data protection, identity management, and regulatory compliance across all Azure PaaS solutions.

Automation & DevOps Integration

Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Azure DevOps to automate deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of cloud resources.
Must have hands on experience on DevOps bicep for infra deployments

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

Stay current with Azure PaaS advancements and industry trends.
Evaluate and integrate recent services to enhance solution capabilities and performance.

Cost Optimization

Analyze usage patterns and recommend cost-saving measures for Azure PaaS deployments.

Team Collaboration & Mentorship

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

✅ Microsoft Azure Certification (e.g., AZ-204, AZ-305, or AZ-400) is mandatory.

✅ Proven experience in designing and managing Azure PaaS solutions in enterprise environments.

✅ Strong understanding of cloud integration patterns, APIs, DevOps practices, and operational support models.

Key Responsibilities
1. Provide Advanced Technical Support By Utilizing Terraform And Azure Iaas/Paas To Troubleshoot Complex Incidents,



Ensuring Timely Resolution And Adherence To Service Level Agreements.
2. Conduct Thorough Root Cause Analysis For Escalated Incidents, Implementing Robust Solutions To Address Technical And Security Issues Within Azure Kubernetes Environments.
3. Facilitate Knowledge Management By Updating And Maintaining The Knowledge Base, Contributing To Continuous Improvement Processes, And Providing Training And Coaching To Junior Analysts.
4. Resolve Complex Support Tickets By Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams, Ensuring Seamless Operations And Reinforcing The Organization'S Security Posture.
5. Enhance Customer Experience And Satisfaction Through Effective First Call Resolution Strategies, Minimizing Rejected Resolutions And Re-Opened Cases While Proactively Mitigating Potential Security Threats.
Skill Requirements
1. Proficiency In Infrastructure As Code (Iac) Using Terraform.
2. Strong Knowledge Of Azure Iaas And Paas Services.
3. Experience With Azure Kubernetes Service (Aks) For Container Orchestration.
4. Familiarity With Incident Management Processes And Root Cause Analysis Methodologies.
5. Excellent Problem-Solving Skills And Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Team Environment.
