Position: Lab Technician

Department: Quality Assurance / Laboratory

Location: Kolkata

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform mechanical and metallurgical testing of raw materials and finished products.

2. Conduct hardness testing, tensile testing, impact testing, and other laboratory inspections.

3. Prepare and maintain test reports and laboratory records.

4. Ensure calibration and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment.

5. Verify material compliance as per customer specifications and relevant standards.

6. Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to resolve quality-related issues.

7. Maintain 5S, safety, and documentation within the laboratory.

Eligibility:

1. Diploma/B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a relevant technical discipline.

2. 5–7 years of experience in a manufacturing quality laboratory (Freshers with robust technical knowledge may also apply).

3.



Knowledge of material testing, hardness testing, metallurgy, and quality documentation.

4. Familiarity with MS Office and basic report preparation.

5. Good communication and analytical skills.

Preferred Experience:

1. Experience in the steel, forging, casting, chain, or heavy engineering industry.

2. Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems and laboratory practices.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
