Job Description:

- Requisite Experience and Responsibility for Raw Material Sourcing / Purchase such as: Mill Scale, Quartz, HR Sheets, Natural Coal, Bars and Rods, Bamboo, Carbon Paste, Charcoal, Lam Coke, Firewood, Lancing Pipe, Jute Bags, Jumbo HDPE Bags, Plastic Bags, Seals, Threads, other packing materials.
- The profile would include Vendor communication, negotiation, Purchase Order creation and tracking, payment tracking, and follow-up with the finance department., Emails, verbal as well as written communications, Finding Recent Vendors
- Good and clear telephonic communication skills are a prerequisite for the post
- Maintain critical stock levels for all Raw Materials
- Order all Raw Materials and ensure each requisite raw material is available for production at all times
- Items for procurement may also include equipment/machinery such as CT’s, Circuit Breakers, Relays, Panels, Motors, Meters, Conductors, wires, Cables, Cranes, Hoists, PT’s, RVT’s, Valves, Coils, Transformers, Oils, Starters, etc.
- Items may include industrial spares such as Nuts, Bolts, Blades, Switches, Lights, Fuses, Gloves, helmets, and boots etc.
- Coordinate and Handle Repairs of JCBs, Tippers, fork Lifts, etc. Check and ensure their Periodic Maintenance
- To check, prepare a list/logs of all indents issued from the factory and their subsequent follow-up from Head Office.




- To send email / telephonic/ verbal / written inquiry for all items received as per indents.
- Candidate needs to prepare comparison sheets for items in MS Excel to arrive at L1 Price, Specs, and Quality.
- Coordinate with Transport, Billing & Receipt of Interstate & Intrastate Purchase of Equipment.
- Developing and negotiating Vendors for purchase for both within the state and other Parts of India.

Job Specification/Requirements:-

- Btech/ BE / Diploma / BBA / B.Sc / M.Sc or Equivalent Experience on above fields.
- Prior Experience in Purchasing of Bulk Materials in any Ferro Alloys/Steel/Cement/Metals / Alloys / Catings or Similar bulk industrial products Industry will be preferred
- Positive Communication and sharp Negotiation Skills shall be required
- Interpersonal skills for handling local as well as interstate suppliers
- Multi-tasking, timely follow-up with suppliers, Positive Attitude, Hard work, & Sincerity is expected.

Preferred Candidate – Candidates from North Eastern States or who have work experience in various Ferro Alloys industries of Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh are mostly preferable.
