Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Developer with experience in building scalable

APIs using FastAPI. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with PostgreSQL,

InfluxDB, and MQTT-based communication. You will be responsible for developing high-

performance backend services, integrating IoT devices, managing time-series data, and

collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

 Develop and maintain REST APIs using Python and FastAPI.

 Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases for high-performance applications.

 Work with InfluxDB for storing and querying time-series data.

 Implement MQTT-based communication for IoT devices and real-time messaging.

 Integrate backend services with third-party APIs and applications.

 Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

 Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

 Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.

 Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and QA teams.

Required Skills

 Robust proficiency in Python.

 Hands-on experience with FastAPI.

 Good knowledge of PostgreSQL database design and optimization.

 Experience with InfluxDB or other time-series databases.





 Working knowledge of MQTT protocol and MQTT brokers (e.g., Mosquitto, EMQX,

HiveMQ).

 Experience with RESTful API development.

 Familiarity with Git version control.

 Understanding of Docker and containerized deployments.

 Basic knowledge of Linux environments.

Preferred Skills

 Experience with Celery and Redis.

 Knowledge of WebSockets for real-time applications.

 Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

 Understanding of IoT architectures and edge device communication.

 Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

 4–6 years of professional experience in Python backend development.
