Over View of the Job:

Facility Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance activities related to electrical systems within the organization. The Supervisor will lead a team of technicians, including electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters, and fabricators, ensuring the smooth operation, repair, and upkeep of the infrastructure to maintain efficiency, safety, and compliance with regulations.

The primary focus of a Facility supervisor should be on preventive maintenance, which involves proactively maintaining buildings and electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and prolong electrical device lifespan.

General Roles & Responsibility:

Supervise and lead a team of electricians or technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

Plan and schedule preventive maintenance activities for electrical systems, lighting and power distribution systems.

Conduct regular inspections of electrical equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to operations.





Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment & Daily logs books.

Required Skills:

Ø Robust technical knowledge of electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.

Ø Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety standards.

Ø Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other departments.

Ø Flexibility to work non-standard hours and respond to emergency situations as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or Diploma ECE / EEE. ( OR ) 2. ITI Electrical

Experience Required:

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a reputed industry, preferably within an electrical maintenance department.

The right candidate's salary will be determined by their experience, knowledge and industry standards, rather than being considered separately.
