- Monitor and record vital signs, fetal heart rates, and contractions during labor.
- Assist in the management of pain and administer prescribed medications.
- Care for patients undergoing treatment for gynaecological conditions, such as fibroids, PCOS, or infertility.
- Educate patients about reproductive health, prenatal and postnatal care, family planning, and breastfeeding.
- Provide emotional support to patients dealing with infertility or pregnancy loss
- Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, nursing care, medications administered, and clinical observations.
- Adhere to hospital policies and ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
- Emergency Care Management:
- Identify and manage obstetric emergencies such as preeclampsia, hemorrhage, or fetal distress.
- Initiate emergency protocols and assist during neonatal resuscitation if required.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Education: B.Sc. Nursing / GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a ICU Department.
