About the Role

Airexon Global Technologies is looking for an experienced Python FastAPI Developer to build and maintain AI-powered communication solutions. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in backend development using FastAPI and hands-on experience integrating AI calling agents, telephony platforms, voice APIs, and real-time communication systems.

The role involves developing scalable backend services that connect AI voice agents with communication platforms, CRM systems, websites, and business applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and FastAPI.
- Integrate AI voice platforms such as ElevenLabs, Exotel, and similar communication APIs.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs, Webhooks, and third-party integrations.
- Build AI-powered inbound and outbound calling workflows.
- Integrate voice agents with CRM systems, websites, mobile applications, and automation tools.
- Implement speech-to-text (STT), text-to-speech (TTS), and conversational AI workflows.
- Ensure API security, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve communication and integration-related issues.
- Collaborate with AI engineers, frontend developers, and project stakeholders.
- Prepare technical documentation and API integration guides.

Required Skills

- 3–5 years of professional experience in Python development.
- Strong expertise in FastAPI.




- Experience with REST APIs, Webhooks, and API integrations.
- Hands-on experience with AI communication platforms such as ElevenLabs, Exotel, Twilio, or similar providers.
- Good understanding of asynchronous programming in Python.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of JWT, OAuth, and API security best practices.
- Experience with Git and version control workflows.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with AI Calling Agents and Voice Automation platforms.
- Familiarity with OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or other LLM integrations.
- Experience with WebSockets and real-time communication systems.
- Knowledge of Docker, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience integrating CRM systems and customer support platforms.
- Understanding of IVR systems, call routing, and conversational AI.
