Summary:

UST is looking for a Business System Analyst – Healthcare / Data Analysis / SQL with strong expertise in business system analysis, data analysis, SQL, and US Healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, supporting enterprise applications, analyzing system issues, defining requirements, and delivering technology solutions aligned with business objectives.

The candidate should have strong experience working with Data Warehouse/Data Lake applications, SQL development, reporting environments, and healthcare systems, preferably within Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM).

The Business System Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, supporting critical healthcare applications, performing data analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective technology solutions.

The role requires strong technical and analytical skills with expertise in SQL, data warehouse environments, reporting solutions, and healthcare business processes. The candidate will work closely with business users, architects, developers, QA teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors to ensure successful implementation and support of business applications.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Business & System Analysis

- Provide support for critical business applications and technology solutions.

- Analyze, triage, and resolve issues reported by system users.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, architects, infrastructure teams, and vendors.

- Partner with stakeholders to ensure service levels and business satisfaction.

- Work with application architects, developers, QA teams, and technical teams to deliver successful solutions.

- Assist in designing system solutions aligned with business strategies.

- Define and document:

- Functional Requirements

- Usability Requirements

- Reliability Requirements

- Performance Requirements

- Support Requirements

- Define project scope, objectives, and system specifications.

- Act as a liaison between IT teams and business users.





- Apply both business and technical expertise to support solution delivery.

- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Create and execute feature testing and identify environment requirements.

- Ensure technical solutions meet business needs and objectives.

- Identify opportunities for system enhancements and future improvements.

Data Warehouse / Data Lake Responsibilities

- Work extensively with Data Warehouse and Data Lake applications.

- Design, build, and support data warehouse components including:

- ETL Processes

- Databases

- Reports

- Reporting Environments

- Analyze and document requirements for:

- New data warehouse components

- Existing data warehouse enhancements

- Reporting and analytics solutions

- Perform data analysis and validation using advanced SQL queries.

- Support business decisions through accurate reporting and analytics.

- Analyze data flows, system workflows, and technical solutions.

What you need:Requirements

- 6+ years of experience working with Data Warehouse or Data Lake applications.

- 6+ years of experience with SQL, including:

- Complex query development

- Data analysis

- Query optimization

- Performance tuning

- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / System Analyst.

- Experience supporting enterprise applications and technology solutions.

- Strong understanding of business processes and operational workflows.

- Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide innovative solutions.

- Strong documentation and requirement management skills.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Qualification

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:

- B.Tech / B.E

- MCA

- Computer Science

- Information Technology

- Related technical field
