Design Engineer - Jr/Sr.
Location : Chennai.
Key Responsibility:
- Motivating and Monitoring the design teams and ensure the designs were done as per the plan and within target.
- Ensuring structural drawings and designs are produced with a high precision, and are easy to decipher
- To Oversee the entire design process using technical expertise and software.
- To Closely Work with clients and ensure that their expectations are met
- To produce designs that could reduce financial risk during construction & Execution of the plans.
- To be very conversant with all the documentation process while doing the design process
- To have hands on experience and be abreast up to date knowledge related to construction and its legislation.
- To have handled large projects and met the specified goals successfully.
- Able to prepare structural overviews for ongoing and upcoming projects, and develop reports as well as cost estimates to management
- Hands-on proficiency in application of latest versions of Staad,
Tekla and Auto cad soft wares including design and detailing of connections.
- Technical and commercial optimization of design and detailing.
- Update knowledge of latest revisions of IS 800, NBC and AISC codes.
- Pretender and post- order technical discussions with clients and consultants to exploit our strengths.
Key Role:
- To Oversee the entire design process using technical expertise and software.
- To produce designs that could reduce financial risk during construction & Execution of the plans.
- Familiar with Autocad / Staad Pro and other relevant design softwares
Experience
- Minimum 8 - 10 years of managerial experience in the relevant field.
- Knowledge (Technical / Functional)
- Knowledge in troubleshooting
Skills
- Problem Solving skills
- Ability to respond and resolve to various queries on Designs and its related issues
- Good communication skills
Qualifications
- BE (Civil) / B.Tech
- Master Degree in Structural Design will be an added advantage.
