Job Title: Staff Nurse

Location: Iswarya Fertility & Women's Hospital, Sivakasi

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and patient-focused Staff Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in providing quality nursing care, assisting doctors, and ensuring patient safety. Candidates with previous experience in a Fertility, IVF, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, or Maternity Hospital will be given preference.

Eligibility

- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM with a valid Nursing Council Registration.
- Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience as a Staff Nurse.
- Experience in a Fertility, IVF, Maternity, Women's Healthcare, or Multi-specialty Hospital is an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team and deliver compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality nursing care to inpatients and outpatients.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical condition, and report any changes promptly to the treating doctor.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergencies.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, post-procedure care, and discharge instructions.




- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.
- Follow infection prevention and control protocols at all times.
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality.
- Coordinate effectively with doctors, nursing supervisors, laboratory, pharmacy, and other hospital departments.
- Adhere to hospital policies, quality standards, and patient safety guidelines.

Work Schedule

- Rotational shifts
- Night shifts are part of the duty schedule, and candidates should be willing to work night shifts as required.

Salary

- Salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and interview performance.

Preferred Candidate

- Experience in Fertility, IVF, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Labour Ward, or Maternity Hospitals.
- Strong clinical and patient care skills.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and professional attitude.
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Committed to delivering safe, compassionate, and quality nursing care.
