Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Master Tailor with a strong background in luxury couture construction. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in garment development, couture finishing techniques, and precision tailoring for both Indian and Western silhouettes. This role requires leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering garments of the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Construct and finish couture garments with exceptional precision and craftsmanship.
- Execute complex stitching, draping, fitting, and garment construction for bridal, occasion wear, and bespoke collections.
- Work with luxury fabrics including silks, tulles, organza, velvet, satin, and embellished textiles.
- Collaborate with designers and pattern masters to translate sketches into impeccably finished garments.
- Supervise and mentor junior tailors and finishing artisans.
- Ensure all garments meet atelier quality standards before client fittings and final delivery.
- Perform garment alterations and fitting corrections with accuracy.
- Coordinate with the embroidery and handwork teams to ensure flawless integration of embellishments.




- Maintain production timelines while upholding couture-quality craftsmanship.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of experience in luxury fashion, bridal couture, or high-end bespoke tailoring.
- Expertise in both Indian couture (lehengas, blouses, gowns, saree blouses, anarkalis) and Western couture (corsets, evening gowns, structured dresses, jackets, trousers).
- Advanced knowledge of garment construction, couture finishing, and luxury sewing techniques.
- Strong understanding of pattern interpretation, fittings, and garment corrections.
- Experience working with intricate hand embroidery and embellished garments.
- Ability to lead a team and manage multiple couture projects simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to perfection.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience with luxury fashion houses or couture ateliers.
- Knowledge of corsetry, structured silhouettes, and couture finishing techniques.
- Experience handling bridal and made-to-measure garments.
- Strong problem-solving skills during fittings and production.
