Job Title: Financial Literacy Educator / Coordinator

Role Purpose

To design and deliver age-appropriate financial literacy education to students, equipping them with essential life skills such as money management, budgeting, saving, and responsible financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Curriculum Design & Delivery

- Develop and implement a financial literacy curriculum in collaboration with respective teams.
- Conduct engaging sessions on topics like saving, budgeting, banking basics, digital payments, and financial planning
- Integrate financial literacy concepts into existing subjects where feasible
- Use activity-based learning (simulations, games, case studies)

Student Engagement & Skill Building

- Organize workshops, projects, and real-life simulations (e.g., mock budgeting exercises)
- Encourage practical application through student-led initiatives (mini markets, saving challenges)
- Assess student understanding through assignments, presentations, and activities

3. Teacher & Parent Collaboration

- Train and support teachers to embed financial concepts in classroom teaching
- Conduct parent awareness sessions on building financial habits at home
- Share resources and guides for continued learning beyond the classroom

4. Program Management & Partnerships

- Coordinate with external organizations/experts for guest sessions or workshops
- Maintain program documentation, lesson plans, and progress reports
- Evaluate program effectiveness and suggest improvements

Qualifications & Experience

- Graduate, Post Graduate or Higher Qualification with relevant subject as Specialization. B.Ed is mandatory.
- 2–5 years of experience of teaching in a reputed school.

- Strong understanding of basic financial concepts and personal finance
- Excellent communication and storytelling ability for young learners
- Ability to simplify complex concepts into practical, relatable lessons
- Creativity in designing interactive and experiential learning modules
- Good organizational and coordination skills
