Job Opening: HR Executive – Plant HR (Manufacturing)

Position

HR Executive – Plant HR

Experience

- Minimum 3+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing company.
- Experience in factory HR and shop floor operations is mandatory.

Qualification

- MBA/MSW/BBA in Human Resources or a related field.
- Sound knowledge of the Factory Act, Labour Laws, PF, ESIC, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, induction, and employee documentation.
- Maintain attendance, leave records, HRMIS, and payroll inputs.
- Regularly visit the shop floor to monitor manpower, employee discipline, and work activities.
- Coordinate effectively with Directors, Department Heads, Supervisors, and workers.
- Ensure employees comply with company policies, SOPs, and safety regulations.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, productivity, and employee behaviour.
- Ensure all employees wear mandatory PPE, including safety helmets, safety shoes, gloves, goggles, ear protection, and other required safety equipment.
- Conduct daily plant rounds and identify issues related to safety, housekeeping, discipline, and operational compliance.
- Report observations to management and follow up until corrective actions are completed.




- Coordinate with the EHS/Safety team to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Handle employee grievances, counselling, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Support performance appraisal, employee engagement, training, and welfare activities.
- Maintain HR records, ISO documentation, and audit-related documents.
- Prepare HR reports and MIS for management.

Required Skills

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate confidently with Directors, Managers, Supervisors, and workers.
- Positive knowledge of labour laws and factory HR operations.
- Strong observation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and HR documentation.
- Willingness to spend significant time on the shop floor and actively monitor daily operations.

Preferred Candidate

- Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory.
- Experience in factory discipline, employee relations, statutory compliance, and safety monitoring.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
