Role: Technical Editor with Writer

Description:
The Technical Editor with writer is responsible for creating, updating, reviewing the technical content, while complying with Vestas guidelines, ASD-STE100 Simplified Technical English, and general writing principles.

Responsibilities:

- Create, update &review; technical content based on input received from the Bookmap Editor or Engineering
- Clarification of technical input with Technical Lead or Input Provider
- Vestas guidelines, ASD-STE100 Simplified Technical English, and general writing principles
- Detailed quality review before sending document to the Bookmap Editor
- Edit pictures and illustrations based on Vestas' standard
- Able to do the technical review of the manuals completed by the writers.
- Very good in capturing errors, proof reading technical manuals as a reviewer.
- Collaborate closely with technical writer teams and to ensure the quality assurance on the technical manuals.

Capabilities and Qualification:

- Upper level in technical English
- Good technical understanding
- Knowledge of wind technology
- Good knowledge of Vestas guidelines and procedures
- Valuable knowledge of Vestas' terminology (VestasTerm)
- ASD-STE100 certified
- Exceptional skills in MS Word, MS Excel, PDM link, Arbortext Editor, SAP DMS
- Exceptional skills in picture and illustration editing with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
- Good organizational skills
- Experience in stakeholder management
