Key Responsibilities

- Perform incoming inspection of raw materials like:
- Copper / Aluminum rods, wires, and strands
- PVC / XLPE / LDPE compounds
- Insulation and sheathing materials
- Drums, reels, and packing materials
- Verify materials against:
- Approved specifications
- Purchase orders
- Test certificates (COA/MTC)
- Conduct routine tests such as:
- Visual inspection
- Dimensional checks
- Conductor resistance (if applicable)
- Density, melt flow index, and other basic material tests
- Maintain inspection records and reports as per quality system requirements
- Identify and segregate non-conforming materials
- Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and coordinate with:
- Purchase department
- Suppliers
- Quality team




- Ensure proper labeling and traceability of inspected materials
- Support supplier quality improvement initiatives
- Follow applicable standards such as:
- IS (BIS standards)
- IEC standards
- Internal quality procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / ITI / B.Sc. in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field
- 1–5 years of experience in quality inspection (preferably in cable or wire manufacturing)

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹33,533.64 per month
