Job Summary

The PPIC Line Planning Executive is responsible for preparing and monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to ensure timely manufacturing while maintaining optimum inventory levels. The role coordinates with Production, Purchase, Warehouse, QA/QC, and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth execution of production schedules and on-time order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders, sales forecasts, and inventory requirements.
- Allocate production quantities across manufacturing lines based on available capacity, manpower, and machine availability.
- Monitor production plan vs. actual performance and identify deviations.
- Coordinate with Production to ensure adherence to the production schedule.
- Plan raw material and packaging material requirements to support uninterrupted production.
- Coordinate with the Purchase team to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Track inventory levels of Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM), Work-in-Progress (WIP), and Finished Goods (FG).
- Ensure optimum inventory levels while minimizing excess stock and stock-outs.
- Prepare daily production reports, line utilization reports, and MIS reports.
- Coordinate with QA, QC, Warehouse, Maintenance, Dispatch, and Sales teams for smooth operations.
- Update production plans in ERP/MRP systems and maintain accurate planning records.




- Support monthly production forecasting and capacity planning.
- Monitor machine utilization, changeovers, and production efficiency.
- Identify production bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, quality standards, and safety guidelines.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
- 2–5 years of experience in PPIC, Production Planning, or Manufacturing Planning.
- Experience in FMCG, Cosmetics, Food Processing, Pharmaceuticals, or Manufacturing industries is preferred.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Production Planning & Inventory Control (PPIC).
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, MIS reporting).
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Knowledge of production capacity planning and inventory management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
