Urgent hiring for Business Development Manager

Job location - Kolkata

Experience - Min 2 - 3 years from hotel industry

KRA :

Lead generation & prospecting: Identify new clients, markets, or partnerships. For retail/BD supplies, that could mean schools, offices, co-working spaces, or other stores.

Sales pipeline management: Qualify leads, pitch solutions, negotiate deals, and close contracts. Own the full cycle from "hello" to "signed".

Market research: Track competitors, pricing, industry trends, and gaps in the market. Figure out where demand exists that you can capture.

Relationship building: Network with decision makers. Attend trade shows, industry events, LinkedIn outreach. Maintain existing client relationships to drive upsell/cross-sell.

Strategy & planning: Work with leadership to define growth targets, go-to-market plans, and new verticals to enter. Example:



expanding from stationery into office furniture.

Proposal & pitch creation: Build business cases, presentations, and pricing proposals tailored to each client’s pain points.

Collaboration Coordinate with marketing for campaigns, product for feedback on offerings, and ops/finance to ensure you can deliver what you sell.

Revenue targets Live and die by KPIs like current revenue booked, accounts opened, pipeline value, and conversion rate. Typical targets: quarterly revenue or margin goals.

Contract & partnership deals Negotiate terms, SLAs, and commercial agreements. Sometimes includes channel partners or distributors.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
