About Us

Saraswathy Group is a diversified business with operations in wholesale and retail pooja products, handlooms, dairy, consumer products, and e-commerce. We are building a creative in-house media team to produce engaging content across multiple brands and digital platforms.

We are looking for a talented Videographer cum Video Editor who is passionate about visual storytelling and can create high-quality videos that engage audiences and strengthen our brands.

Key ResponsibilitiesVideo Production

- Plan and execute video shoots for products, stores, warehouses, events, and promotional campaigns.
- Capture high-quality footage using cameras, smartphones, drones (if applicable), gimbals, and lighting equipment.
- Record interviews, customer testimonials, behind-the-scenes content, and brand stories.
- Ensure proper framing, lighting, and audio quality during shoots.

Video Editing

- Edit reels, short-form videos, YouTube videos, advertisements, and promotional content.
- Add transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, background music, sound effects, and color correction.
- Deliver platform-optimized videos for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, and other digital channels.
- Maintain consistent editing style and brand identity.

Content Creation

- Collaborate with the Creative Strategist to bring content ideas to life.
- Suggest creative camera angles, hooks, and storytelling techniques.
- Stay updated with current social media trends and editing styles.
- Repurpose long-form content into engaging short-form videos.

Equipment Management

- Maintain cameras, lenses, lighting, microphones, gimbals, memory cards, and other production equipment.
- Organize and back up all project files and raw footage.




- Ensure equipment is ready for scheduled shoots.

Collaboration

- Work closely with the marketing team to meet campaign deadlines.
- Coordinate with different business divisions to create promotional content.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Media, Film, Visual Communication, or a related field (preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in videography and video editing.
- Strong portfolio showcasing reels, promotional videos, and commercial content.
- Excellent understanding of camera operation, lighting, framing, and audio recording.
- Strong storytelling and editing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Technical Skills

- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects (preferred)
- Adobe Photoshop
- DaVinci Resolve (optional)
- Canva (basic knowledge)
- Experience with DSLR, mirrorless cameras, gimbals, drones (preferred), and professional lighting equipment.

Preferred Skills

- Experience creating viral reels and short-form content.
- Knowledge of social media algorithms and platform-specific video formats.
- Basic photography skills.
- Motion graphics and animation skills are an added advantage.
