Job Description: F&A; / Reinsurance-Assistant Manager

Responsibilities: Key Responsibility Areas including preferred Skills and Experience

- Handling Life reinsurance contracts- Treaty and FAC, review of the contracts and policy cession correction
- Preparing bordereaux, XOL and FAC billings to be sent to brokers/Reinsurers
- Invoice review, Receivable/Payables reconciliation & settlement
- Claims handling from initial notice, billing and collections from brokers/Reinsurers.
- Cash booking, allocation and reconciliations
- Handle market and auditor queries
- Manual JE prep and topside allocation for ceded premium and claims
- Calculation of Ceded Net Amount of Risk and delayed claim interest, booking of claims accrual
- Collateral review and management
- Management reporting
- Schedule S reporting

- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or Post Graduate in Commerce with overall 5+ years of experience for AM.
- 2+ years of experience in the field of Reinsurance operations or accounting for AM

- Client management experience
- Proficiency in MS Excel (IF functions, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, PIVOT, INDEXMATCH) and PowerPoint
- Desirable-Experience in Life Reinsurance preferred

Knowledge of TAI preferred.
