Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Jr./Sr. Preform Production Operator. This role is crucial to our manufacturing process, involving the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of machinery used to produce high-quality preforms. The ideal candidate will have a robust mechanical aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Depending on experience, the role will involve either learning and assisting in core production tasks (Jr. level) or taking a lead role in optimizing processes, complex troubleshooting, and training (Sr. level).

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor preform injection molding machines or other designated production equipment to ensure continuous and efficient operation.
- Perform routine quality checks on preforms, including visual inspections, dimensional measurements, and weight verification, to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Identify and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues or process deviations, making necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks on machinery, including cleaning, lubrication,



and basic component replacement, to minimize downtime.
- Accurately record production data, quality control results, and maintenance activities in logs and digital systems.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, company policies, and quality standards, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Assist in the setup and changeover of production lines, ensuring smooth transitions between different product runs.
- (For Sr. Level) Train and mentor junior operators on machine operation, quality control procedures, and safety guidelines.
- (For Sr. Level) Lead efforts in identifying root causes of recurring production issues and implement corrective actions.
- (For Sr. Level) Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing enhancements to production methods and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, promoting a safe and productive environment.
