We are looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Welder to join our manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for welding sheet metal components as per engineering drawings, ensuring high-quality workmanship, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, and spot welding on sheet metal components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and welding symbols.
- Assemble and weld sheet metal parts according to specifications.
- Ensure weld quality, dimensional accuracy, and surface finish.
- Operate welding machines, grinders, and other fabrication tools safely.
- Inspect finished components and rectify welding defects when required.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
- Maintain welding equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to meet daily production targets
