What you will be doing:

As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for

- Architecture and design of the Data Engineering components of Dartmouth suite
- Improve current Database and Data Warehouse design
- Ensure solutions meet stability concerns for ongoing performance, maintenance, and support
- Develop strategies for Data Acquisition, Archiving and Governance
- Own the responsibility of the performance of the queries
- Code and develop key components
- Review code of the Data Engineering team members
- Develop, upskill, organize, and coach internal existing talents in the Data Engineering team

Assist team with upskilling on technology and data architecture practices

Who you are:

At least 8 years of total experience with a minimum of 4 years in :

- Hands-on experience of programming in Python language
- Proficiency in SQL is must
- Big data (Hadoop, Hive, Spark)
- Messaging backplane (Kafka)
- Data-pipeline & scheduler tool (Airflow, Nifi)
- Streaming engines (Kafka, Spark Streaming)




- Any Relational database or DW experience
- ETL tool experience (Google Data Fusion or any other tool)
- Hands-on experience in Data Analysis, Data Modeling, Data Integration, Data Warehousing, Database Design , Data Pipeline Design
- Experience with database performance evaluation and remediation
- Develops strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery and implementation
- Ability to develop database strategies for adaptable high-performance reporting and business intelligence
- Experience in GCP cloud platform.
- Good communication skills and strong analytical skills
- Experience in team handling and project delivery
