We are seeking an experienced, results-oriented Production Head to oversee our Electric 3-Wheeler (L5 Category) manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will take full end-to-end ownership of shop-floor production, assembly line operations, Body-in-White (BIW) shop management, production planning, and electrical defect resolution.

Key Responsibilities1. Production Planning & Shop-Floor Execution

- Lead and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules (PPC) to meet volume, quality, and delivery targets.
- Optimize shop-floor layout, line balancing, and cycle times (Takt time reduction) to maximize OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma initiatives across assembly, BIW, and testing stations.

2. BIW & Fabrication Management

- Oversee the complete Body-in-White (BIW) process, including chassis welding (MIG/TIG/Robotic), panel fabrication, jigs & fixtures alignment, and frame inspection.
- Ensure structural rigidity, dimensional accuracy, and seam quality across all welded assemblies.
- Troubleshoot chassis distortion, fitment issues, and surface defects prior to paint/assembly.

3. EV Electrical & Powertrain Integration

- Supervise the end-to-end integration of EV powertrains (BLDC/PMSM Motors, Controllers, Harnesses, BMS, and Lithium-ion Battery Packs).
- Directly diagnose and resolve complex electrical and electronic issues (e.g., wiring harness short-circuits, CAN-bus communication errors, BMS cut-offs, sensor faults, MCU tuning).
- Oversee End-of-Line (EOL) testing, dyno testing, and electrical safety insulation testing (Hi-Pot, continuity,



and ground checks).

4. Quality, Safety & Team Leadership

- Partner with Quality Assurance (QA) to minimize First Time Yield (FTY) failures and reduce scrap/rework rates.
- Build, mentor, and supervise shop-floor engineers, supervisors, technicians, and line operators.
- Enforce strict shop-floor safety protocols, particularly around high-voltage (HV) battery handling and assembly line ergonomics.

Required Candidate Profile & Qualifications

- Education: B.Tech / B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, Production, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 10 to 15+ years in vehicle manufacturing, with at least 3–5 years in EV 2W or 3W production.
- Core Technical Competencies:
- Hands-on mastery of BIW welding, chassis fabrication, and fixture management.
- Deep practical knowledge of EV electrical systems, motor controllers, battery harnesses, and BMS diagnostics.
- Strong expertise in Production Planning & Control (PPC), Manpower Management, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Soft Skills: Solid leadership, crisis handling, cross-functional collaboration (R&D;, Quality, Purchase), and data-driven problem solving.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
