QC ensures parts meet drawing and specification.
In press shop, work involves sheet metal inspection.
First Piece Approval after die setting is mandatory.
Check dimensions like length, hole position, bend angle.
Visual inspection for burr, crack, dent, scratches.
Use gauges like Vernier, height gauge, Go/No-Go.
Monitor die condition and alignment issues.
Control rejection and identify root cause.
In CNC shop, focus is on precision machining parts.
First-off inspection after program setup.
Check OD, ID, depth, threads, and tolerances.
Use micrometer, bore gauge, dial gauge, etc.
Monitor tool wear and suggest offset correction.
Ensure surface finish and GD&T; requirements.
Maintain inspection reports and support quality improvement.
