Job title: Sr. Android Developer Job Type: Permanent Job, Full Time

Place of work: Udaipur

Working hours: 8:30 hours (including 30 Min Break)

Minimum level of Education: Must be Engineering Graduate/ Post Graduate preferred

Reporting line: Development Manager / Team Leader / CEO

Competencies required:

1. Minimum Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering
2. Proven software development experience and Android skills development
3. Proven working experience in Android app development
4. Have published at least one original Android app
5. Experience with Android SDK
6. Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
7. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
8. Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
9. Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
Additional Qualities:
1. Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
2. Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code
3. Ensure the best possible performance, quality,



and responsiveness of the application
4. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
5. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Skills:
1. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
2. Strong OO design and programming skills in Java (J2EE/ J2ME) Familiar with the Android SDK
3. Knowledge of SQLite, MySQL or similar database management system Familiar with Eclipse
4. Familiarity with Restful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
5. Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
6. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
7. Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”
8. Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers
9. Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
10. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
11. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
12. A knack for benchmarking and optimization
13. Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
14. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT
15. Familiarity with continuous integration
