Duties and Responsibilities of a Mathematics LecturerTeaching and Instruction

- Deliver lectures and conduct tutorials in core and applied mathematics.
- Prepare lesson plans, course syllabi, and digital learning materials.
- Teach mathematical concepts to students from various academic disciplines.
- Utilize mathematical software and programming tools such as MATLAB, Python, or R to support teaching and learning where appropriate.

Research and Scholarship

- Conduct independent and team-oriented research in mathematical sciences.
- Write and publish research articles in peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Present research findings at national and international academic conferences.
- Apply for research grants and external funding opportunities to support scholarly activities.

Student Mentoring and Evaluation

- Design and administer quizzes, assignments, examinations, and other assessment activities.




- Evaluate and grade student performance in a fair and timely manner.
- Mentor students on academic development, career planning, and research opportunities.
- Supervise postgraduate and Ph.D. students, where qualified.
- Maintain regular office hours to provide academic guidance and additional support.

Departmental and Institutional Service

- Attend faculty meetings and actively participate in departmental committees.
- Support student recruitment, admissions, outreach, and institutional events.
- Contribute to curriculum development, program review, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Perform examination-related responsibilities, including question paper preparation, invigilation, and assessment.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
