Qualification

The applicant must possess a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognized university or institution approved by the Bar Council of India.

The candidate should have a sound understanding of basic legal principles, legal documentation, and institutional regulatory procedures, enabling effective handling of official correspondence, drafting, and administrative legal support within the Dean’s Office.

Job description

The Legal Assistant will function as the administrative and legal support staff to the Dean’s Office.

The role primarily involves secretarial, coordination, and documentation responsibilities along with basic legal assistance.

Key responsibilities





Managing the Dean’s office correspondence, emails, and official communications

Drafting letters, notices, reports, minutes of meetings, and official documents

Scheduling appointments, meetings, and maintaining the Dean’s calendar

Assisting in preparation and maintenance of institutional records and files

Supporting BCI documentation, compliance records, and policy documentation, correspondence with Legal Education Directorates and the High Court

Coordinating with faculty, students, departments, and external authorities

Assisting in academic and administrative processes of the School/Center

Maintaining confidentiality and qualified office protocol at all times
