Key Responsibilities

* Design compelling covers for new book titles across selected publishing lists.

* Create final production-ready cover artwork using Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator).

* Collaborate closely with editorial, marketing, production teams, and external suppliers to coordinate cover design, schedules, budgets, and project status.

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date cover data, artwork files, and project status within company systems.

* Organize and lead monthly Cover Meetings with title editors to review progress, discuss design concepts, and resolve production issues.

* Ensure all cover artwork meets brand standards, production specifications, and publishing deadlines.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

* Experience working in an academic publishing environment or a similar publishing or creative setting.

* A genuine passion for typography, book design, and the craft of publishing.





* Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat (Illustrator is an advantage).

* Proven experience managing freelance designers, illustrators, and other creative contributors.

* Excellent organizational, project management, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

* Solid attention to detail and the ability to deliver a high volume of work quickly, accurately, and to a consistently high standard.

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across editorial, marketing, production, and external partners.

* A proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting tight publishing deadlines.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
