Position Summary

The Junior Accountant assists with day‑to‑day accounting operations, maintains accurate financial records, supports compliance with statutory tax obligations such as GST and TDS filing in Zoho Books, Quickbooks etc, and helps ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

- Maintain books of accounts (sales, purchases, cash, credit card and bank) & record daily transactions.
- Post journal entries and update general ledger accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.

GST & TDS Compliance

- Prepare, reconcile, and file GST returns accurately and on time.
- Calculate, prepare, and file TDS returns as per statutory timelines.
- Maintain records related to GST/TDS documentation and statutory compliance.
- Assist in preparing GST and TDS calculations and schedules for internal reviews.

Reporting & Support

- Assist in monthly closing activities and Financial Reporting.
- Support preparation of MIS reports as required.




- Provide documentation and support for internal/external audits.
- Help with vendor/customer reconciliation and follow‑ups.

Other Duties

- Adhoc tasks as allocated
- Ensure compliance with organizational accounting procedures and statutory requirements.
- Assist Senior Accountants in Investment Accounting related tasks.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance (B.Com), or related field.

Experience

- 3 years of accounting experience.
- Practical exposure to GST and TDS calculations and filing.

Skills & Competencies

- Solid knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
- Good understanding of GST and TDS rules and tax compliance procedures in India.
- Robust numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teams.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
