Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and analytical CMA Trainee to join our Finance & Accounts team. The trainee will gain hands-on exposure to cost accounting, financial accounting, budgeting, MIS reporting, taxation, inventory management, internal controls, and ERP systems while supporting the finance team in day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Costing & Cost Control

- Assist in preparation of product costing and cost sheets.
- Support cost analysis, variance analysis, and profitability reports.
- Monitor material, labor, and overhead costs.
- Assist in monthly cost closing activities.

Financial Accounting

- Support preparation of journal entries and ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing.
- Verify accounting records and supporting documents.
- Prepare schedules for statutory and internal audits.

MIS & Reporting

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Analyze production, inventory, sales, and financial data.
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
- Generate reports from ERP systems.

Inventory & Manufacturing Finance

- Participate in physical inventory verification.
- Reconcile inventory records with ERP.
- Support stock valuation and inventory control processes.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, and Purchase departments.

Taxation & Compliance

- Assist in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance activities.




- Prepare working papers for tax filings.
- Maintain statutory records and documentation.

Internal Audit & Controls

- Support internal audit assignments.
- Assist in process documentation and SOP preparation.
- Identify gaps in financial controls and recommend improvements.

ERP & Data Analysis

- Work on SAP/ERP transactions and reporting.
- Prepare Excel-based financial models and dashboards.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation.

Eligibility

- CMA Intermediate qualified/appearing and eligible for Industrial Training as per ICMAI guidelines.
- B.Com./M.Com. (Preferred).

Experience

- Fresher or candidates eligible for CMA Practical/Industrial Training.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of Accounting and Costing concepts.
- Knowledge of GST and basic taxation.
- Valuable analytical and numerical skills.
- Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Charts).
- Basic knowledge of ERP/SAP (Preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
