Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Technical Project Manager with a strong software development background who has transitioned into project management. The ideal candidate should possess excellent technical expertise in Python, React, data engineering, and modern software development practices, while effectively leading cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality products on time.
This role requires a leader who can bridge the gap between business and technology, understand technical challenges, guide engineering teams, and ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, delivery, and post-release support.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.
- Manage cross-functional teams consisting of backend, frontend, QA, DevOps, and data engineers.
- Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release planning.
- Monitor project timelines, risks, dependencies, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Review technical designs and participate in architectural discussions.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure high-quality coding standards and best practices.
- Track project KPIs and provide regular status updates to senior leadership.
- Identify risks proactively and develop mitigation plans.
- Ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.

Technical Skills Required

- Robust prior hands-on development experience.
- Good understanding of:
- Python
- React.js
- REST APIs
- SQL and NoSQL databases
- Data Engineering concepts
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Git and CI/CD pipelines
- DevOps fundamentals




- Familiarity with AI/ML projects and data-driven applications is an added advantage.
- Ability to understand system architecture and provide technical guidance to development teams.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of overall IT experience.
- Proven experience managing software development projects.
- Prior experience as a Software Engineer or Technical Lead before moving into project management.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Experience working with distributed teams is preferred.
- Preferred Skills
- Experience in AI, Data Analytics, or Machine Learning projects.
- Exposure to GIS-based applications is an added advantage.
- Scrum Master or PMP certification is desirable.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
