Profile Summary:
Must have WPS/WQT Certifications.
We are looking for experienced Marine Welders with hands-on exposure to shipbuilding, marine operations, offshore projects, or naval refit activities. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of welding techniques, structural welding, piping welds, and marine fabrication standards. Experience in executing welding jobs in confined spaces, dry docks, onboard vessels, and heavy fabrication environments will be preferred.
Candidates should be familiar with welding positions such as 2G, 3G, 4G, and preferably 6G, along with a strong understanding of marine safety standards, welding quality requirements, and repair/refit operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding activities for marine structures, ship repair, offshore fabrication, and naval refit projects.
- Execute welding jobs in 2G, 3G, 4G, 6G and other required welding positions as per project specifications.
- Carry out structural, piping, and fabrication welding activities onboard vessels and at yard locations.
- Read and interpret welding drawings, WPS, welding symbols, and fabrication layouts.
- Ensure weld quality standards and support QA/QC inspection activities.
- Operate welding equipment and maintain tools in secure working condition.
- Support repair, retrofit, and modification activities during marine and naval refit operations.
- Follow all HSE procedures, hot work permits, and onboard safety protocols.
- Coordinate with fitters, fabricators, supervisors, and inspection teams during execution.
- Maintain productivity and complete welding activities within project timelines.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
