Experience / Role :

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSK, CCSP) preferred.

- Proven experience (5+ years) working in cloud security roles, with hands-on experience in public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Strong understanding of cloud security concepts, including network security, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and data protection.

- Experience with cloud-native security tools and services, such as AWS IAM, Azure Security Center, and Google Cloud Security Command Center.

- Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CSA Cloud Controls Matrix, and CIS Benchmarks.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

- Proven track record of leading and executing security projects from conception to completion.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Description :

- We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Cloud Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team.



The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud infrastructure, applications, and data. This role requires deep expertise in cloud security best practices, robust analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Develop and implement cloud security policies, standards, and procedures to protect sensitive information and assets.

- Conduct regular security assessments and audits of cloud environments to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities and risks.

- Design and deploy security controls and solutions, such as encryption, access controls, and identity management, to safeguard cloud resources.

- Monitor and analyse security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.

- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on cloud security best practices and compliance requirements, such as NIST, ISO27001, CSPM, CIS etc.

- Stay up to date on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies in the cloud computing space.

- Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor on cloud security matters to management and stakeholders.
