- KeyResponsibilities :

1. Leadership & Team Management

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of electrical engineers, supervisors, and technicians.

- Plan and allocate resources for shift schedules, emergency repairs, and project work.

Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement

2. Maintenance Strategy & Execution

- Develop and implement comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all electrical systems, including LV/HV systems, motors, drives, PLCs, SCADA, and instrumentation.

- Ensure timely corrective maintenance to minimize production downtime.
- Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships

3. Technical Oversight

- Oversee the maintenance of electrical distribution systems (up to [voltage, e.g., 11kV]), transformers, switchgear, UPS, and backup power systems.

- Ensure reliability of automated manufacturing systems, robotics, and control networks.

- Drive troubleshooting of complex electrical and automation failures.

4. Safety & Compliance





- Ensure all electrical work complies with national electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC), OSHA standards, and company safety policies.

- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.

- Promote and enforce Lockout-Tagout (LOTO), arc flash safety, and other critical safety procedures.

5. Projects & Continuous Improvement

- Lead electrical upgrade projects, energy-saving initiatives, and new equipment installations.

- Collaborate with production and project engineering teams on capital projects.

- Implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and TPM methodologies.
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains

6. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and compliance documents.

- Prepare and present maintenance performance reports (MTBF, MTTR, downtime analysis) to senior management.

- Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) effectively for planning and reporting.
- Experience with the SAP Maintenance module

- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in electrical engineering or a related field
- Experience : Minimum 8-10 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership/supervisory role.

- Technical Skills:

- Expertise in maintenance of HV/LV systems, motors, VFDs, PLCs, SCADA, and industrial networks.

- Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards, predictive maintenance tools (thermography, vibration analysis), and root cause analysis.

- Experience with automation, robotics, and control systems in a continuous or batch process industry.

- Knowledge of energy management systems and sustainability practices.

- Familiarity with ISO 50001, ISO 45001, or similar standards.

- Project management experience (PMP or similar).

- Additional Skills:

- Solid leadership and strategic planning capabilities.

- Deep technical expertise in industrial power systems and automation.

- Excellent people management, stakeholder coordination, and decision-making skills.

- Sound knowledge of statutory compliance,



electrical safety standards, and audits.

- Proven ability to manage budgets, large teams, and complex plant operations.

- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset
