Job Description: Advanced Systems Engineer Job Description: An experienced Advanced Systems Engineer with strong expertise in Honeywell TPS (LCN/GUS), Experion PKS (EPKS), graphics migration, database and commissioning activities. Lead multiple projects to deliver them on time and to a defined scope and quality level that meets cost constraints. Able manage various resources, assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, engineering deviation and customer satisfaction goals and objectives for various assigned BMS projects.
Qualification: BE (Instrumentation / E&TC;/Computer/IT), master’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology and engineering ( MCA/MCM/MSC etc) Experience Level: > 10 years Location: Pune
Key Responsibilities
• Handle Multiple projects and managerial activities • Provide technical leadership in identifying and resolving system issues • Minimize downtime and ensure systems remain operational • Identify opportunities for process and system improvements • Contribute to the optimization of operations
Skills: • Strong expertise in Systems Engineering, Project Execution, and Technical Leadership. • Extensive experience with Honeywell TPS (LCN/GUS) and Experion PKS (EPKS). • Valuable knowledge on VBScript , JavaScript and Python • Lead & deliver multiple HMI projects from various BU along with assigned project team • Review tender documents -plans & specifications to derive scope, RFI, deliverables etc. and prepare project plan covering detailed hardware and software design, QC, FAT if applicable. • Communicating with stakeholders, team members and project managers on project status, including progress,
risk and any issues that may have an impact on project delivery • Responsible for project related communication with customers. Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers/Location Co-coordinators and/or functional peer group managers; often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team • Impart and Conduct technical training as necessary. Act as a SME/coach for team members providing technical mentorship. • Responsible for analyzing customer feedback and identifying appropriate actions to improve overall customer satisfaction. • Ensure effective use of various engineering & workflow tools, adherence to laid down processes to achieve required delivery, productivity, quality & customer satisfaction goals • Participates in pre-sales estimate reviews to ensure necessary engineering hours are specified to meet vendor requirements • Knowledge transfer within and across the engineering teams. • Hands-on experience in TPS, Experion PKS, and SCADA database loading and validation. • Experience creating engineering and project documentation. • Hands-on FAT, SAT, and site commissioning experience along with OPM. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. Travel Requirements Willingness to travel to customer sites up to 50% of the time for FAT, commissioning, startup, and project support activities.
