We are looking for: Power Systems Simulation Studies Expert

You’ll make an impact by:

- Serve as the primary expert for grid study engineers globally who use Siemens PSS®E, delivering prompt, accurate, and professional guidance and expertise.
- Demonstrate the ability to rapidly diagnose and contextualize grid study issues with minimal initial input, asking incisive clarifying questions that reflect deep domain awareness.
- Provide expert-level guidance across:
- Load flow analysis, short circuit studies, and dynamic simulation workflows
- Dynamic model selection, parameter configuration, and simulation execution
- Error interpretation, case setup validation, and tool usage best practices
- Software installation, licensing, and setting configuration.

Use your skills to move the world forward!

- Master’s degree, in Electrical Power Systems Engineering.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in a similar position
- The following experience is highly desirable

- Practical understanding of:
- Machine models, excitation systems, and governor dynamics
- Steady state and dynamics simulation studies, input and output processing and modeling
- Typical simulation workflows,



input data structures, and configuration settings
- Working proficiency in C/C++/Fortran and Python for technical problem-solving and scripting.
- Hands-on familiarity with industry-standard simulation platforms, including PSS®E (strongly preferred), PSCAD, MiPower, ETAP, or equivalent tools.
